Emmy Abrahamson – Artistic Director

Emmy Abrahamson studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, and works as a director, drama teacher and script writer. She has run drama workshops all over the world, including such varied places as the Great Wall in China and a scorching beach in Tanzania. She has been an artistic director at drama festivals in Germany, India, Indonesia, Romania and Turkey. She played the lead in the critically acclaimed Dutch movie Nederlands voor Beginners directed by Urszula Antoniak and her first full-feature script Far Away to the North is currently in development. After living for more than twenty years abroad, she is now proud to call Malmö her home.
